Fall hikes

I went for an early fall hike this afternoon at a nearby park. Even though the temperatures have been cooler lately, the leaves are just barely changing. I spotted a few chipmunks and squirrels throughout my hour long hike, but they were too fast for me to snap pictures of!

Interestingly enough, I did spot a few remainders of Hurricane Ike, whew blew through here last month. Crazy!!

  1. Gorgeous photos! This is such a beautiful time of year. Aside from the bugs, I enjoy the fall hikes, too. My 4yo can't get enough of them! (picking up as many sticks and rocks as possible, lol)
I love the 1st photo. It looks so inviting.
