Saturday Blahs

I have lots of more exciting things to post about, like a trip I took Thursday, fun times with friends Friday...but right now...

I just need a hug :(

I am having a rough day. I've been feeling in a rut w/ God lately, especially regarding relationships (like in the fact that I'm 24 and I've never been in one, yes I'm a loser) and I'm just feeling really sad and down. Just needed to get it out, like I do every month or two.

I'll be back, happier I'm sure, tomorrow. Everybody can have a downer day, right?

  1. thanks for stopping by my blog.

i'm sorry you are having a blah-blah day!!

{{{hugs}}} i hope you feel better soon!

  2. I looooooove you!

You're nowhere close to being a loser hon. We'll talk. :0)

  3. I'm sending you a big hug! It's okay to have a crappy day.

  4. You are the farthest thing from a loser!

I've been in a God rut lately, too.
Thing it's coincidental timing it's falling during Lent? I've wondered...

I can't wait until we have enough time on a weekend for me to meet you somewhere. Girls' time!

Let it all out. I hope in some extraordinary way today you can pamper yourself. Not something you usually do.

Hey, do you like to get pedicures?

  5. Came here by way of Donna at Moments Like These.

Here's a thought: you're 24 and haven't had a relationship because God is saving you for just the right person. And what a joy it will be when you two find each other.

    Have a beautiful Sunday!

  6. I hope your today is better than tomorrow. I had one of those just the other day. BTW, you're not a loser just because you're not in a relationship. Trust me. You're only a loser if you settle for something that's not good enough for you just because you want to be in a relationship. Paul Harvey (I think that's his name) said that everyone...everyone has the "someone" out there. God wouldn't make that someone for you and then not let you find him. It took me thirty something years to find mine. Just hold on...It will happen (and it's ok if you just want to slap the crud out of the next person who tells you to be will happen...)

  7. Hi Bethany!
So glad you dropped by today! You're welcome back anytime! Yes, everyone has a downer of a day, once in awhile. Just ask God to bring you through it and believe and trust that He will! Hope you're feeling much better real soon!

  8. Hi Behtany,

We all have days like. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know I have plans for you" declares the Lord "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" I always dwell on that verse when I am feeling down!

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Comments warmly welcomed! :-)
